Painting the town

Wow, It has been an eventful week in Santa Barbara's art community! My work and the Art show I chaired was in all the papers. Our Wilderness to Gallery show at the Faulkner was on the cover.
I was one of 20 chosen top artists to do a paintout and exhibit downtown. Too fun!!!

Plaza Rubio

I'm a bad, bad girl. I sold the painting of my fav. house. and did not take a photo of it. It's soo hard being perfect! Ha.

I have been pretty good about keeping a diary or log of my work. I have painted over 250 paintings so far. I did an inventory of all my studies. There is a pile of them. Perhaps I should have a super sale on them , just for the cost of canvas! One great artist I know, threw a bunch of hers out and discovered next Satuday her neighbors sold them in a yard sale and made a killing!

First Friday May 6

Celebrate First Friday in Carpinteria.
My shop on Linden will be having a reception, 5 to 8. Saturday will be an Artist open studio tour!
10 till 5. All my paintings will be hung. I hope to see all my friends and art lovers.
